El Niņo Rey provides financial assistance to single/widowed mothers.
Through our Esperanza program, clothes are sent quarterly for distribution
throughout the many communities.
In
special circumstances, financial assistance is also provided to needy
families seeking medical procedures for their children not otherwise
attainable without assistance.
During the 2007 dental mission trips, the team members met two children suffering from a birth defect called Microtia. Characterized by malformed earlobes, the disease had left both children with serious hearing deficiencies. With the generous assistance of Mr. Bob Parkinson of Baxter International, arrangements were made to enable the children to see doctors in Guadalajara for diagnosis and treatments that will be implemented over time.
